Welsh born DJ and producer, Jamie Jones, is the king of the underground dance circuit. Jamie’s reign over the esoteric scene can be attributed by his acquired taste in exceptional music. Growing up, Jamie was heavily influenced by funk, soul, disco, and eventually indie rock. And it definitely shows in his productions. Jamie’s music is a diverse expedition traversing across funky basslines and soulful grooves. Jamie states the ”backbone of my sound has always been deep house, Detroit techno and generally anything moody, edgy, and groove-based.”

Jamie’s debut artist album Don’t You Remember the Future was the perfect kickstart to his production career. The paradox contained in his album title is a reference to Jamie’s unique blend of forward-thinking music combined with old school elements. Jamie’s career prospered even further as he gained the entrepreneur title once he established the Hot Creations label, founded by Jamie Jones and Lee Foss (together known as Hot Natured). In 2009, Jamie’s mixed bag of deep house and techno won him ‘Best Producer’ and ‘Best Dance Single’ in the British DJ Magazine Awards. Two years later, Jamie Jones was crowned #1 on Resident Advisor’s Top DJs of 2011.
