Only a few days after he announced his plans to unplug for a bit, Deadmau5 turns around and gives us the release date for his highly anticipated 13-track album cleverly named ‘album title goes here.’
The album, out on September 25th, looks to be promising with a number of carefully chosen cameos (because we all know how selective the mau5 can be). Wolfgang Gartner collabs on the retro electo ‘Channel 42.’ The vocals of Imogen Heap resonate on ‘Telemiscommunications.’ My Chemical Romance’s front-man Gerard Way keeps it raw on the rock-fused ‘Professional Griefers.’ ‘Failbait,’ featuring the legendary Cypress Hill, kicks it old school hip hop with a modern day twist. And the infamous adaptation of the children’s short story ‘Veldt’ which showcases the singing and songwriting skills of amateur vocalist Chris James.
Not to mention, Professor Meowingtons making it onto the album art.
