Sander Ketelaars makes music without following any conventional guidelines. Choosing not to be defined by a single sound, Sander has created various aliases (including Sam Sharp, Purple Haze, Filterfunk or Sandler) in order to achieve his genre-defying vision. However, he is best known for seamlessly fusing the best of trance, electro, techno and house as Sander van Doorn.

Sander has always payed little mind to the space that exists between genres. He makes his own rules and his two studio albums, Supernaturalistic (2008) and Eleve11 (2011), reflect his artistic versatility. Winning the ‘Best Breakthrough Artist’ IDMA in 2008, Sander has since become a rubric for other genre-merging producers to follow.
